Apple introduced the iPad lineup in 2010 and since then has released a new set of tablet computers every year. This 2020, fans are anticipating a new set of iPad Pro line up from the Cupertino tech juggernaut. Here is what we know so far about the 2020 iPad Pro based on earlier reports, leaks, analyst predictions, and speculations.

2020 iPad Pro Release Window

This year, Apple’s tablet computer iPad is celebrating its 10th year anniversary in the industry. Based on its release pattern, the first iPad was released in Apr. 2010. However, succeeding releases either falls on Mar., Jun., Sept., Oct., or Nov.

Last year, Apple launched the iPad 2019 alongside the iPhone 11. TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has shared a lot of accurate predictions about Apple products, said last year that the 2020 iPad Pro might arrive alongside the 4.7-inch low-cost entry-level iPhone SE 2. The compact iPhone is anticipated to arrive this Mar., so Kuo is pointing to a potential Mar launch date for the 2020 iPad Pro.

Design

Based on earlier leaks, the 2020 iPad Pro is not expected to sport any massive design changes. The 2018 iPad features a contemporary look, and Apple might be more interested in making the upcoming tablet computer more powerful instead of making it look better. An earlier report from one of the supply chain sources revealed that the 2020 iPad Pro might switch its 12.9-inch to mini-LED tech. This kind of technology would allow Apple to make the 2020 iPad Pro a lot slimmer and lighter.

Camera, Processor, And Accessories

The upcoming iPad Pro lineup is anticipated to feature a triple rear camera lens configuration. In theory, this could be the same camera we now see on the current generation flagship iPhone 11 series. The 2020 iPad Pro might run on Apple A13 Bionic chip, the same powerful chip that runs on iPhone 11.

As for its accessory, on Jan. 2020, Digitimes reported that the 2020 iPad Pro might arrive with a new smart keyboard accessory with backlight. The publication reported that the Cupertino company is working on a smart keyboard that could also double as an iPad stand.

As for its price, the current iPad retails at $799. It is possible that Apple would increase this price considering the 2020 iPad Pro comes with an A13 Bionic chip and triple camera setup.
