As Jesse Pinkman, "Breaking Bad" fans are used to seeing Aaron Paul trying to deescalate a tense situation -- like the dangerous working partnership of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) -- on the acclaimed AMC series. However, Aaron Paul is more than willing to help settle a real life quarrel as well. Most recently, the amicable actor set his sights on ramping down the Twitter feud between performers Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.

Tuesday, Paul tweeted a proposal to Swift and Minaj -- who had been taking shots at each other on the social media site hours before over the merits of the recent nominations for Video of the Year at the 2015 MTV Music Video Awards -- in the hopes of restoring peace.

The feud began Tuesday after Minaj tweeted a rant that included accusations of racism and a favoring of skinnier female artists in MTV's decision not to include Minaj's 2015 "Anaconda" video in the five nominees for the coveted video of the year award.

Swift, whose 2015 video "Bad Blood" was nominated by MTV for Video of the Year, took some of Minaj's comments as an unfair attack on her work. Swift wrote to Minaj on Twitter, saying, “I've done nothing but love and support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

Will Paul's proposition help ease the tension between the two popular artists? Only time will tell. In the meantime, fans can daydream about Paul, Swift, Minja coffee and pancakes date.
