President Trump has taken to Twitter to express his thoughts on Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ recent divorce announcement calling him “Jeff Bozo.”

In a Twitter post, Trump wrote, “So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post.

“Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!”

Bezos announced his divorce to wife MacKenzie on Wednesday, just three days before his 55th birthday. Following the announcement, details about Bezos’ relationship with former TV anchor Lauren Sanchez were revealed.

Bezos and Sanchez, 49, had reportedly been dating for four months. The National Enquirer exposed the alleged relationship, claiming to have paid for an undercover investigation of the couple for months.

An attorney for Bezos told The National Enquirer that he “supports journalistic efforts and does not intend to discourage reporting about him.”

Trump also praised what he called the “far more accurate” National Enquirer for reporting on Bezos’ alleged affair, discrediting The Washington Post, which Bezos owns.

Bezos bought The Washington Post in 2013. Amazon was not involved in the purchase, Fox News reported.

Trump has taken a critical stance against The Washington Post in the past, criticizing its coverage which he often calls “fake news.”
