It looks like Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian have made amends. After the model took to Instagram to defend her new gal pal amid controversy over her recent nude photo, Amber invited the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star to help her empower women.

The Philadelphia native took to Instagram on Wednesday to ask Kim, 35, about potentially attending her annual event the SlutWalk. Amber reposted a photo of the reality star, telling her that she had seen her comments about slut-shaming, which spoke to the activist in her. She wrote that in her experience, it's "not fun" to be ridiculed or made to feel bad about showing off your body. The mother of one went on to urge Kim to continue to speak out for women everywhere and consider joining her at the event to show "the haters" that she is more than the sex tape she made more than a decade ago.

"And @KimKardashian I don't know u well but I saw u speak about slut shaming and as u know I'm an activist feminist so it spoke to me. Being slut shamed and ridiculed is not fun it's hurtful and mean. Us women deal with it everyday and I'm happy u can speak openly on this now because if anyone knows what it's like to be Slut Shamed it's u! Live it Kim! Make a difference and speak on it! Not only when it's convenient for u but when u can help others. Last year at my Slutwalk I told my Slut shaming story. This year I would love for u to come and tell urs. This is an open invite from me to u and ur sisters are welcomed too. Let's let the naysayers know u are so much more then a sex tape (13 years ago) f--- it own it. Ur a mom and a business woman, a wife, sister and daughter. Hope we can make this happen," she wrote.

The post was just one of two Amber penned about Kim, who is married to her ex-boyfriend Kanye West. After catching wind of the negative commentary about a censored nude photo posted to the mother of two's Instagram page on Monday, Amber decided to weigh in. She shamed singer Pink for using International Women's Day as a platform for her hateful message about Kim's penchant for nudity, reposting a screen grab of the message with a positive one of her own. Amber reminded Pink that "we were all born naked," but society has taught us that it's sexual and wrong. She went on to say that if Kim feels "comfortable with her body and wants to show it off" it is not for anyone else to comment on.

Kim's sexy snapshot also caught the attention of other celebrities on Twitter. Piers Morgan, Bette Midler and Chloë Grace Moretz shared their thoughts on the photo, which also gained traction on the social media site. Morgan offered to buy Kim an outfit and joked that she wouldn't even be considered famous if it weren't for her getting nude so often. Midler also joked about Kim's frequent nude photo shoots, saying that if she wanted to really shock fans and show them something they'd never seen before she'd have to "swallow the camera."

Kim responded to her haters, but has yet to reveal whether she will be participating in the 2016 SlutWalk.
