Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's relationship has improved considerably over the years after their separation and Jolie is now helping her ex-husband reconcile with their older children, according to a report.

Pitt has been spotted visiting Jolie's home in the past weeks which only show that the exes are on good terms following their bitter split. A source told Us Weekly that the "Maleficent" star "has been advocating for a reconciliation" between Pitt and their kids Maddox, 19, and Pax, 16.

The insider added that she's also helping the "Ad Astra" actor "to a lesser extent" with their daughter Zahara, 15. Pitt and Jolie also share Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

However, another source close to the family refuted the claim but would be happy if it were true.

"There’s no sign this is true, but it would be great if they were," the source said.

Meanwhile, Jolie talked about her adopted kids Maddox and Pax in her interview with Vogue in June. The "Eternal" star admitted that she had no plans to adopt a baby from Vietnam because at the time she already has Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia.

“It’s true, I did think about that. I did originally think not to adopt from Vietnam because Mad was Cambodian and the two countries have a complex history,” Jolie explained.

However, she had a change of heart after reading a book on human rights and seeing an image of a Vietnamese fighter that was held captive by Americans. The image moved her and convinced her to include a Vietnamese in her family. In March 2007, Jolie adopted Pax from a Vietnamese orphanage.

“I thought of my own country and our involvement in south-east Asia. I thought of focusing on a future where we were all family,” she added.

“I am very blessed to have been allowed to be their mom. I am grateful every day.”

In related news, Jolie was very happy to be a part of the adventure-drama movie “The One and Only Ivan.” She gushed over the cast that included Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Danny DeVito, Chaka Khan, Helen Mirren, Brooklynn Prince, Ron Funches, Phillipa Soo and Mike White.

"There's so many people -- and also Chaka Khan! So, the greatest casting ever," Jolie said.

"The One and Only Ivan" is streaming on Disney+ on Aug. 21.
