Apple Watch Price Slashed By $100; Apple Watch 2 Release Imminent Next Month?

On March 18, Apple is expected to unleash the iPad Air 3 and the 4-inch iPhone 5se, 9 to 5 Mac reported. The rumor mill is unable to confirm whether the Cupertino company will announce a second generation Apple Watch or introduce new bands for the first generation model. A new software update is also expected to be announced for the existing smartwatch.
Since retailers announced price cut on the Apple Watch, speculations are rife that the Cupertino company may announce the Apple Watch 2. Rumors hint that the Apple Watch 2 would arrive with a FaceTime camera feature that would enable users to make video calls. The upcoming smartwatch is also expected to arrive with newer health sensors for providing users with additional health-centric features. As far as the design of the smartwatch is concerned, it is expected to be slimmer than the original model.
