Hiddleswift is REAL! Tom Hiddleston confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter today that his relationship with Taylor Swift is definitely not a publicity stunt.

Hiddleston, 35, received an Emmy nomination Thursday for his role in “The Night Manager.” The actor is nominated for outstanding lead actor limited series or movie, along with actors Bryan Cranston (“All The Way”), Benedict Cumberbatch (“Sherlock”), Idris Elba (“Luther”), Cuba Gooding Jr. (“The People v. O.J. Simpson”) and Courtney B. Vance (“The People v. O.J. Simpson”). Hiddleston talked to the Hollywood Reporter about his Emmy nomination, a first for him, and of course grilled him about his highly publicized relationship.

“Well, um. How best to put this?” Hiddleston said in response to whether his relationship with Swift, 26, is a publicity stunt. “That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”

Swift and Hiddleston became an item last month, shortly after the singer called things off with her beau of over a year, Calvin Harris. Their relationship has been progressing at a rapid pace, with Hiddleston even taking his belle to meet his mother in Suffolk, England. The two have also been packing on the PDA. Hiddleston was photographed by paparazzi wearing a “I heart T.S.” shirt at her Fourth of July bash at her Rhode Island mansion.

Hiddleston did not say if he would be bringing Swift as a date to the award show when it’s held on Sept. 18.
