Over the past several years, natural disasters have struck far reaching corners of the globe.The latest disaster in Japan, an earthquake followed by a tsunami, has had a devestating effect on the Northern part of the country.

Thanks to the satellite cameras, NASA has captured high-definition photos of each disaster from far above the Earth's atmosphere. Here is a look at a few of the snapshots NASA has taken.
