LG Optimus Big Launched in Korea : Brighter Display than iPhone [PHOTO]
LG has launched its LG Optimus Big smartphone in its native country of Korea yesterday. The smartphone is equipped with a large 4.3 inch display, which makes it the largest LG phone to date. It's 10.1 mm thick and weighs 151g.
The display uses NOVA technology, which has 700 nits of brightness - it's brighter than AMOLED but consumes less power.
It runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor with 5 megagpixel rear camera. The LG Optimus Big also has 16 GB of built-in storage with the Android 2.2 Froyo instead of the 2.3 Gingerbread, but LG will most likely provide an update to the Gingerbread after the launch. The phone also supports Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi Direct, GPS and a HDMI port.
The LG Optimus Big is now available in Korea, but if or when it will reach the US is not yet known.
