Ryan Dunn Death: Funeral Service to be Protested by Westboro Church
The extremist Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, announced on Tuesday that its members will protest any memorial service held for daredevil, actor and reality TV star Ryan Dunn.
The Westboro Baptist Church, also known as WBC, is an independent Baptist church known for its extreme stance against homosexuality and its protest activities, which include picketing funerals and desecrating the American flag. The group has been denounced as radical by many Christian organizations.
“WBC will picket any public memorial/funeral held for Dunn, warning all not to make a mock of sin, & to fear & obey God” The notorious Westboro Baptist Church said in après release with headlines stating: Ryan Dunn is in hell!
The WBC’s objection to Dunn was that he was a “drab pervert who hawked porn-level filth to get rich from a perverse generation.”
The church calls specific attention to the Jackass stunt when Dunn put a toy car inside a condom and inserted it into his rectum and then visited a doctor and complained of pain. The doctor took x-rays and of course discovered the toy car.
Ryan Dunn died at approximately 3.a.m. on June 20th morning in West Goshen, Pennsylvania due to a car accident that left him and a companion charred to ashes. His body was recognized through his facial hair and tattoos.
An autopsy was performed and results revealed the final moments as the daredevil star passed away due to blunt force from impact and thermal trauma when flames engulfed his Porsche. Both Dunn and his passenger were dead before ambulances arrived.
According to the West Goshen Township police report, Dunn's Porsche 911 GT3 was fully engulfed in flames when officers responding to a report of an auto accident near Route 322 and Pottstown Pike found it off the road and in the woods.
Dunn was famous for his willingness to be harmed for the sake of entertainment and fun. He starred in three TV shows -Jackass, Viva la Bam, and Homewrecker, all of which showcased his penchant for peril.
