Lady Gaga says she wants to start a fashion line

Lady Gaga was named Fashion Icon at the CFDA Awards a few weeks ago and now she says she wants to start her own fashion line at one point.

Gaga has an eye for fashion. In her new video for her single 'The Edge Of Glory' Gaga is seen wearing vintage Versace and often changed outfits multiple times during performances. Last week Gaga even proclaimed that for two months she would only wear Versace because she's 'having a love affair with Donatella.'

Backstage at the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto, Canada on Sunday Gaga told reporters that eventually she wants to have her own fashion line. I really, really have such admiration for fashion designers and I'm such good friends with them. I'd love to have a fashion line when I stop making music for a while, for a year, Gaga said.

Though don't expect Mother Monster's fashion line to come any time soon. She just released a hit album 'Born This Way' on May 23 and it sold over 1 million copies in its first week. The album has already spawned four hit singles: 'Born This Way,' 'Judas,' 'The Edge of Glory' and 'Hair.' Gaga says she's also having a love affair with song writing. Looks like Gaga is happy with her microphone instead of a dress form...for now.
