The Dadaab camp in northern Kenya is the world’s largest refugee camp. Designed to hold only 90,000 people, the facility now houses at least 350,000 refugees who are fleeing civil war and drought in Somalia.
Save the Children reported that 1,300 Somalis (including at least 800 children) are arriving daily at the already overcrowded camp. With the ceaseless war in Somalia and a drought expected to last few more months, the refugees are expected to keep streaming into Dadaab.
