Pop star Jeniffer Lopez and Salsa star Marc Anthony are getting divorced, ending their seven years of marriage.
Jeniffer, 41, and Marc, 42, are parents to three-year-old twins Max and Emme. The couple released a statement on late Friday saying, We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.
The couple got married at J Lo's Beverly Hills home in a June 2004 ceremony, just five months after she ended her high-profile engagement to Ben Affleck, Mirror.co.uk reported.
Before her marriage with Marc, J Lo got married twice - first, to restaurateur Ojani Noa and after that with dancer Cris Judd. She ended her marriage with Noa in 1998 and with Judd in 2003.
In 2008, Lopez and Anthony renewed their wedding vows after their twins were born. Marking their sixth anniversary on June 5 last year, the couple reaffirmed their love for one another, according to Mirror.co.uk.
Starred in films like Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner, Lopez was one of the judges of the last series of American Idol.
