Vacation in your Birthday Suit at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park
Thinking of a vacation in the nude?
Probably not. But why not try the nude suit out at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park in Ontario, Canada.
Many have no idea that a naturist park lies just 30 minutes outside of Toronto. Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park is a family campground, which may surprise some who think of nudists as psychedelic hippies trying to relive the past. The campground itself is pretty much like a traditional campground, except the obvious nude factor.
Bare Oaks prefers people to call themselves naturist rather than nudist. Being a naturist isn't just about being naked - that's easy enough - it's more about the philosophy behind it.
We try to live a naturist life and nudity is key to body acceptance and an integral part of our naturist philosophy, reads the Bare Oaks Web site.
Because of this philosophy, clothing is not an option. All that enter the park must go nude.
The majority of the naturist locations are in Europe, with other resorts and parks located in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States' East and West Coasts.
For more information on naturists and vacations in the nude, the International Naturist Federation has information for first timers including resort information.
