Paul McCartney, former Beatle, and American heiress, Nancy Shevell, tied the knot in a 45-minute civil marriage ceremony on Sunday, at Old Marylebone Town Hall, London.
McCartney married his first wife, Linda Eastman, a talented photographer who specialized in rock and roll portraits at the same place in the year 1969, an event that literally broke the hearts of a million teenaged girls at that time.
Shevell wore an elegant above-the-knee gown designed by none other than McCartney's daughter, Stella, while McCartney wore a blue suit and a light blue tie, a USA Today report stated.
According to press reports, McCartney's younger brother Mike served as the best man and his young daughter, Beatrice, as the flower girl.
For McCartney, known as the cute one among the Beatles, this is the third marriage, whereas for Shevell, it is the second. The couple met in the Hamptons in Long Island, New York, shortly after the singer's divorce from Heather Mills in 2008 and got engaged earlier this year.
