The first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, was on hand to welcome the White House's official Christmas tree, marking the start of the holiday season. Also present were daughters Malia and Sasha, as well as Bo, the family dog.
The 18.5-feet balsam fir tree from Wisconsin was delivered by a horse-drawn carriage to the White House on Friday. The tree will be on display in the Blue Room.
