Ramie Marie Grimmer, 12, whose mother fatally shot her and critically wounded her 10-year-old brother, Timothy Grimmer, on Monday, knew she was going to die that night and made several chilling Facebook posts.

Those words were written Monday night after her mother Rachelle Grimmer, 38, pulled a gun on welfare office supervisor, Roberto Reyes, and her two children because she was reportedly frustrated at being denied food stamps.

Ramie Grimmer added a new friend and at 10:34 p.m. she posted im bored.

And at 11:28 p.m. she posted tear gas seriasly

Rachelle Grimmer then shot her two children once in the head before killing herself, police told the media.

Ramie Grimmer succumbed to her injury in a San Antonio hospital on Wednesday. Her Timothy Grimmer is still in critical condition, according to MSNBC.

Reports are that Rachelle Grimmer and her children went to the state welfare agency in Laredo, Texas, angry that her family was denied food stamps.

Texas Department of Health and Human Services spokeswoman Stephanie Goodman told The Associated Press that the mother asked to speak with a new caseworker. They were then taken into a private room to discuss the case at which point Rachelle Grimmer displayed her gun.

Goodman said Rachelle Grimmer first applied for food stamps in July and was denied because she didn't provide enough information.

Negotiators reportedly tried to stay on the phone with the mother who continuously hung up the telephone, Laredo investigator Joe Baeza told MSNBC, noting that she also spoke of the complaints against state and federal agencies.

The unharmed supervisor was set free at 7:45 p.m., while negotiators stayed on the phone with the mother who still had the children with her.

Negotiators ended the call with Rachelle Grimmer at 11:45 p.m. and police then heard three shots. They then entered the building to find the mother's body and her two children wounded, according to MSNBC.

Mary Lee Shepherd, one of the children's other grandmother told The AP that her former daughter-in-law had a history of mental problems. She also said that she and her son Dale Grimmer, who is the children's father, made contact with social workers at least three times.

Shepherd also noted that they were both worried Rachelle Grimmer could harm the children, The AP reported.
