When two people in love decide to marry each other, it is often with the hopes that it will last forever. Some marriages do and some end in either a separation or a divorce.

Lakers star Kobe Bryant's wife filed for divorce on Friday after 10 years of marriage. It has been estimated that the player is worth some $360 million, and since the couple didn't sign a prenup, Vanessa Bryant could end up getting half of her husband's wealth, joing the likes of Elin Nordegren.

There are other reports that during their 10-year marriage, Kobe Bryant made $150 million and that Vanessa could end up with about $40 million in settlement.

After a highly-publicized divorce from her ex-husband Tiger Woods, it was reported that model Elin Nordegren would get between $100 million and $750 million in divorce settlement. It is still unknown exactly how much cash Nordegren walked away with, but it is certainly not less than $100 million, according to reports.
