Beyonce Pregnant: Baby’s Birthing Suite Being Prepared?

Beyonce's baby birthing suite is being prepared in New York, CTV News is reporting.

News of the preparation came approximately a day after reports surfaced that Beyonce was preparing to go to New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital to give birth.

Earlier this week, gossip site MediaTakeOut.com reported that it was told that the nurses and security were placed on alert because a high profile patient was going to check in. It also reported that two nurses at the hospital said that the celebrity VIP has booked half the floor of the hospital's luxury labor and delivery suite.

Beyonce, 30, told fans in September that she was six months pregnant while shooting a video for her song Countdown. If she was in fact six months pregnant then, that would mean Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z could expect their first child some time this month.

Beyonce's camp has not confirmed whether she is preparing for labor this month.

In August, Beyonce revealed to the world that she was pregnant after performing at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Since the announcement, her pregnancy has been closely watch and at times ridiculed by rumors that her pregnancy is a fake.

The diva did open up however, to Katie Couric earlier this month regarding her baby.

News that's that big it is hard to hide and keep to yourself. ... I felt so liberated and I felt like I can breathe and be happy. It was a beautiful feeling. I went straight off the stage and just cried. I hugged my mom and hugged Jay and just cried.

I read that I like ketchup on everything, Beyonce said, adding that the rumor is not true.

I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, 'I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas.' I'm like, 'That is disgusting! What are you doing?' And he's like, 'I read it on the Internet.'

On Fake Pregnancy Rumors

You know, there are certain things that are so far, it doesn't even upset you, she told Couric. My mother, she is like 'Nobody's talking about my grandbaby. My grandbaby is not even here yet. I don't like it!' I'm like calm down, mom. It's OK. It's really silly. My mom is really protective and so is my sister. But I'm cool. It's so ridiculous and over the top.

On Baby's Sex

I don't care. I'm just like everyone else. And now I know why people say that, it's true. I just want [a healthy baby], she said.

Beyonce has always said she wanted to start a family by the time she was 30. She has been married to Jay-Z for about three years.
