JFK Intern Mimi Alford Claims President Forced Drugs, Cajoled Her into Sex Acts: ‘Resistance Was Out of the Question’

A former intern of President John F. Kennedy described her alleged 18-month affair with the late President in an explosive new book, Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath, which will be released Wednesday.

The Daily Mail published disturbing reveals found in the memoir, among them an accusation that JFK forced the 19-year old to ingest a sex drug against her will, and that he coerced her into performing a sex act on an aide for his viewing pleasure.

Mrs. Alford, who was then known as Mimi Beardsley, claims Kennedy never kissed her and that she always referred to him as Mr. President, even while they were intimate.

Alford claims the affair began in 1962, after the president and his new intern went on a private tour of the White House that ended in the First Lady's bedroom. There, JFK allegedly took Alford's virginity.

The book claims the president wordlessly removed the intern's clothes, and when she momentarily resisted, asked her: Haven't you done this before?

Though Alford said no, Kennedy reportedly continued his seduction.

During a party at Bing Crosby's Hollywood ranch, Kennedy allegedly offered Alford amyl nitrate, a sex-enhancing drug.

I was sitting next to him in the living room when a handful of yellow capsules - most likely amyl nitrate, commonly known as poppers --was offered up by one of the guests, Alford wrote, according to a book passage quoted by the Daily Mail.

The president asked me if I wanted to try the drug, which stimulated the heart but also purportedly enhanced sex.

I said no, but he just went ahead and popped the capsule and held it under my nose. He didn't try it himself. This was a new sensation, and it frightened me. I panicked and ran crying from the room.

On another occasion, Kennedy reportedly cajoled Alford into performing a sexual service for David Powers, who was the Special Assistant to the President.

According to the former intern, JFK suggested Alford take care of Powers, who apparently looked tense.

It was a dare, but I knew exactly what he meant. This was a challenge to give Dave Powers oral sex. I don't think the president thought I'd do it, but I'm ashamed to say that I did... The president silently watched, Alford reportedly wrote.

Alford claims she was helpless to resist the president's advances.

The fact that I was being desired by the most famous and powerful man in America only amplified my feelings to the point where resistance was out of the question.

JFK has long had a reputation for womanizing, and is rumored to have had an affair with Marilyn Monroe during his presidency.
