Super Bowl 2013 Odds
The NFL season hasn't even been over for 24 hours and you can already bet on who will win next year's Super Bowl.
The Patriots may have lost on Sunday, but according to some sportsbooks they have the best chance of winning it all next season.
The odds to win the 2013 Super Bowl are out and New England leads the pack at 5 to 1. The Packers have the second best chance of winning, according to Las Vegas, at 11 to 2.
The defending champion Giants are fifth on the list at 8 to 1.
New York proved this season that the odds before the season don't always mean much. The Giants started the 2011 season at 25 to 1, which was tied for eleventh in the NFL.
After the Giants lost to the Packers in Week 13, they fell to a 6-6 record. At that point, New York's odds moved to as low as 100 to 1 in some places.
The Eagles are tied for third with 6 to 1 odds, even though they had a disappointing 2011 campaign, finishing the season at 8-8.
The Colts are 25 to 1 to win it all after compiling the just two wins in 2011. They have the sixteenth best odds after finishing with the worst record this past season.
The team with the worst odds at the beginning of a season to ever win a Super Bowl was the 1999 Rams. St. Louis opened that season at 300 to 1.
That Super Bowl has greatly affected the way Las Vegas sportsbooks decided to do business. No team would ever get such high odds now.
The biggest longshots to win the 2013 Super Bowl are the Jacksonville Jaguars at 150 to 1.
