Bobbi Kristina Brown Twitter: Teen Tweets ‘Crack is Wack’ on Day of Whitney Houston’s Burial?

UPDATE: The @OfficialBobbiKB Twitter account has been deactivated, which indicates the account was being managed by someone other than Bobbi Kristina.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, has been struggling with the untimely passing of her mother. Shortly after learning that Houston died in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton Hotel room Feb. 11, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital after suffering a complete breakdown. She has since recovered and attended her mother's funeral on Saturday in Newark, N.J. Reports said that the young girl held up well.

Since Feb. 17, Bobbi Kristina Brown has taken to her presumed official Twitter account (@OfficialBobbiKB) to tweet to fans about the death of her mother and thank them for her support. But one message in particular stood out.

Early Sunday morning, the day of Whitney Houston's burial, Bobbi Kristina tweeted 'Crack is wack' The Words Of My Angel around 1 a.m. EST. Eight hours later she wrote God never fails. And, finally, around 11 a.m. Sunday, Bobbi Kristina tweeted, Nobody greater Jesus, nobody greater than you Jesus!! The lord has spoken.

The Crack is wack quote referenced a famous interview Whitney Houston gave to Diane Sawyer in 2002 when allegations arose that Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina's father, were drug users who smoked crack together. Houston denied the rumors and told Sawyer, First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight. Okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is wack.

It seemed like an odd thing to bring up in the hours before Whitney Houston's burial; though many news reports have focused on the singer's drug use since she was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room on Feb. 11.

It is unknown whether the @OfficialBobbiKB handle is legitimate. It has not received the certified Twitter check-mark of approval. However, the music network BET sent a tweet to that account on Saturday: Our deepest condolences to Bobbi Kristina for the greatest loss of all-the music industry and the world over grieves with u@OfficialBobbiKB.

Bobbi Kristina had previously used another Twitter handle, @REALbkBrown, but has not tweeted from that account since Dec. 26.

The bio for the @OfficialBobbiKB account reads: Official Twitter Account for Bobbi Kristina I created this twitter to connect with my mom's fans R.i.P mom follow my twitter @RealBKBrown. However, the only active Twitter account seems to be @OfficialBobbiKB. The account has more than 14,000 followers and has been active for over 16 months.

The handle @RealBKBrown has over 65,000 followers and shows a collection of personal photos. This account does not have the Twitter verification mark either.

Bobbi Kristina's personal demons are under scrutiny after the death of her mother, which has been blamed on a mix of alcohol of prescription drugs. TMZ reported on Saturday that the family wants Bobbi Kristina to enter a live-in rehab facility immediately. But they are holding off on telling her until after Whitney Houston's funeral and burial.

According to those connected with the family, Bobbi Kristina herself has struggled with substance abuse for the last three years. The family wants her to seek help for this. They hope she will enter a 60-day, live-in treatment facility before the problem worsens. The family reportedly saw Whitney Houston fall off the wagon in the weeks before her death and they do not want Bobbi Kristina to go down the same path.

The family, according to TMZ, does not want to push Bobbi Kristina into a program just yet. They want to give her time to grieve the death of her mother.

In March of last year, photos surfaced of the young girl snorting cocaine. The photos were supposedly taken by Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend at the time, who said that the teen is addicted to cocaine. I've tried to stop her, he said. But all she said was, 'I'm just like my mother!' Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi [Bobbi Kristina] doesn't stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her. The photos were taken in Alpharetta, Ga.

The Daily Beast hinted at possible drug use by Bobbi Kristina after Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday. Supposedly, following the ceremony, Bobbi Kristina disappeared and family members frantically tried to find her. Everyone was freaking out and calling Bobbi Kristina's cell, a source, a longtime family friend, told The Daily Beast. It was so much commotion and activity after the funeral that Bobbi Kristina just slipped away. Ms. Cissy [Houston, Whitney's mother] was beside herself.

There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina's whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK, a Houston family spokesperson told The Daily Beast. She needed some time alone. She is going through a very hard time as you can expect.

Friends of the family have acknowledged that the young girl needs help. Cissy and others won't admit out loud that Bobbi Kristina has a drug problem, said the family friend. But they know it and have been trying to keep her straight even before Whitney passed. But losing your mother and the life you're accustomed to all in one day is enough to send anybody off the deep end.
