Stacie Halas, Alleged Porn Star Tiffany Six: Fake Twitter Account Created, Parents A No-Show At School Meeting [PHOTO]
Oxnard School District invited parents to a board meeting on Wednesday to express their thoughts on Stacie Halas, the 31-year-old teacher from Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, Calif., accused of being porn star Tiffany Six. However, not one parent from Haydock Intermediate School was in attendance.
The school district admitted it made no extra effort to let parents know about the meeting and that they could discuss the scandal.
School-district staffers told CBS that teachers and employees from Oxnard were told not to speak with reporters about the incident.
It is very unfortunate...that a teacher may have participated in a pornographic video, said Oxnard School District Superintendent Jeff Chancer at the meeting on Wednesday.
Parents and teachers from other school districts were there, saying it was their moral obligation to show up.
In the meantime, a fake Twitter account of Halas was created featuring a purported photo of her alleged porn star persona, Tiffany Six. The Twitter account has been Tweeting messages since Wednesday.
Tiffany Six, Stacie Halas, it doesn't matter. What matters is that we educate our children. Sex is to be celebrated, Tweeted the account.
There's nothing wrong with SEX!
What does it say about our (economy, state, priorities) when a teacher has to work night job to keep food on her table?
Halas was reportedly removed from her classroom on Monday, three days after several of her students allegedly saw her in a series of online pornographic videos.
I saw parts of the video, Chancer said Wednesday, according to News 24. It's hard core pornography.
Top school officials said they were asking parents and teachers to dissuade their students from visiting the inappropriate sites that allegedly feature Halas in pornographic videos as her stage name, Tiffany Six.
It has been alleged that one of our teachers is depicted in at least one pornographic video and possibly others on the Internet,'' said Chancer said in the Tuesday letter to parents. We ask that you be particularly vigilant over the next few days with respect to the Internet content being accessed by your child on his or her telephone or other Internet-ready device.
Chancer did not say if the Halas admitted or denied whether she appeared in the videos.
The California education outlines certain employment conditions. If the school finds she has violated these conditions, she can be terminated.
Maybe it's not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it's a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned, said Chancer, according to the Smoking Gun.
Chancer said, however, the school district is still trying to determine if there is any violation.
We're trying to determine if there's a nexus on what she does on her own time and what she does in the classroom, he said, according to News 24.
The Oxnard Police Department was notified, but no criminal investigation is underway.
