Lindsay Lohan just can't stay out of the light...that is out of the lights of a cop car. TMZ is reporting that the troubled young star was involved in a hit-and-run accident after midnight on Wednesday.

Lohan was driving away from the Sayers Club in Hollywood in her new Porsche when she reportedly struck someone. Paparazzi who were swarming in front of the Hookah Lounge are being blamed for blocking her exit and causing the accident. Lohan made contact with the manager of the Hookah Lounge with her car, said TMZ. The actress then fled the scene.

Police interviewed people inside the Hookah Lounge -- including the manager -- was only lightly struck by Lohan's car, according to TMZ.

TMZ has learned from the authorities that the case is closed because no one was injured, but the case may be reopened if the victim claims injuries later. If that happens, it could violate Lohan's probation in a shoplifting case.

Lohan has been arrested twice for driving under the influence in 2005 and 2007; her assistant crashed her new $100,000 Maserati in 2009; and most recently, Lohan's six-month-old $80,000 Porsche was spotted with a large scratch on the side.
