iPhone 5 Might Come This Fall
There had been lot of speculations about the launch date of the sixth generation iPhone from Apple. Out of which, the latest speculation about the release of the supposed iPhone 5 has that Apple will unveil its fabled phone either in June or in October. Numerous reports in the past that mentioned that iPhone would be released sometime in June, especially the last day of Worldwide Developers Conference (June 15).
Consequently, a report by Macotakara, a Japanese website also suggested the same, when they said that a Foxconn recruiter revealed during a conversation on TV Tokyo's World Business Satellite (WBS) show that the company was hiring about 18,000 people to manufacture the iPhone 5 which would be sold in June.
However, a recent report contradicted the past report stating that another Foxconn employee showed up and said that the next iPhone would be unveiled in October. According to South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper reports, an employee at Foxconn's Taiyuan factory informed that they have got the order for the iPhone 5 and it would be released around October.
Further, the same report also mentioned that with the confirmation of the next iPhone order, Foxconn has started a massive recruitment drive, in an attempt to have enough workers on the deck to meet the Apple's release which is scheduled for October.
Apple unveiled the first generation iPhone in June 2007. Same was the case with its successor, iPhone 3G, a year later. Then again the company stuck to June with the release of iPhone 3GS in 2009 and the iPhone 4 in 2010. However, a year later, came the major exception, the iPhone 4S, hitting the stores in October, last year. However, there is still no clue as to when iPhone 5 would hit the market though following the iPhone 4S, the October launch sounds more logical than a June launch.
