Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Voted As Best Dressed Celeb, Her Best Looks On Red Carpet [PHOTOS]
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's post-pregnancy weight might have attracted some criticism for the oodles of weight she has gained, but celebrity sites aren't neglecting the actress's style.
The former Miss World was voted as the best-dressed celebrity on the red carpet in an online survey conducted by Yahoo! India. The actress and husband Abhishek Bachchan were also voted as the most stylish Bollywood couple.
The online survey was conducted in April among a cross-section of Yahoo! users visiting sites such as Movies, News and Lifestyle and a total of 1,223 respondents took part in the survey. Among them, three-fourth of the respondents were aged between 18-34 years.
According to the survey, 18 percent of the respondents voted Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as the ultimate style icon of India followed by cricketer M.S. Dhoni with 16 percent votes and actor Shahrukh Khan with 15 percent votes.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan, with his magnetic personality, was declared the best power dresser with 56 percent of votes, followed by Ratan Tata with 19 percent votes and Sonia Gandhi with 9 percent votes.
Glamour queen Malaika Arora Khan was named the most stylist celebrity mother with 37 percent votes, while actress Twinkle Khanna and Priyanka Gandhi were in a tie for the second place.
Forty percent of the respondents believed that technology and style go hand-in-hand for Aamir Khan, while 14 percent of the respondents believed that they go better with Shahrukh Khan and 10 percent supported Priyanka Chopra.
In terms of being traditional Rekha grabbed the top position for the best-dressed in traditional attire, with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi landing the second place.
However, 32 percent respondents believe that actress Vidya Balan has the most unique fashion sense.
