Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are officially an item, according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly. Even though the split of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis was revealed only on June 19 -- after 14 years and two children together -- the Dark Shadows actor has already found a new love -- sultry 26-year-old actress Amber Heard.

They are 100 percent dating, a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly, out now. He treats her really well.

What exactly does treating her well mean? Depp went out and bought his new girl a horse, Us Weekly reported.

They two stars met on the set of The Rum Diary, but they did not start their passionate relationship until two years later, when they went on tour, and Depp and Paradis were estranged.

They started sleeping together during the press tour, a pal says of the bisexual actress, who just recently broke up with her girlfriend Tasya van Ree.

Heard isn't shy about her sexuality, having said, I've had amazing, successful relationships with men, and now I have an amazing, successful relationship with a woman, and the bottom line is I love who I love, according to IMDB.

Aside from being drop-dead gorgeous, it's no surprise that Heard captured Depp's eye. They seen to have the same kind of attitude when it comes to choosing movie roles.

Johnny Depp has tried his hardest to play as many oddball roles as possible and be recognized for his acting as opposed to his looks. Though there are scores of movie roles, some of his strangest gigs were in Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Alice in Wonderland and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

It must have been hard to make the final decision to ditch Paradis for Heard, but Depp believes, If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.
