Woman Selling Soul On eBay For $2,000 And An ?Opportunity For Someone To Save My Soul?
A New Mexico woman who identifies herself as Lori N. is selling her soul on eBay for a mere $2,000 in the hopes that someone can save her.
I don't feel good, Lori told NBC. I'm near the end of my rope. ... I really am.
The woman, who works as a freelance writer, told NBC that she was in a car accident in 2007 and sustained severe multiple injuries. Now, in order to make ends meet, she has taken to eBay to sell her soul and deliver the opportunity for someone to save my soul.
I'm at the point now, I'm tired, Lori told NBC, adding that she suffered a broken hip, pelvis, leg, collarbone, sternum and ribs in the accident in 2007.
Lori said she is hoping that the winner of the auction on eBay, with bids beginning at $2,000, can help her through her rough patch in a cry for help to save her soul.
What I'm gonna deliver is the opportunity for someone to save my soul. They can save it through prayer, they can save it through conversion, she explained. They're also gonna get a certificate detailing the white and black marks on my soul.
So far, the auction has not drawn any comments from eBay or its customers. Its Human Remains and Body Parts Policy does not prohibit the selling of souls.
We don't allow humans, the human body, or any human body parts or products to be listed on eBay, with two exceptions. Sellers can list items containing human scalp hair, and skulls and skeletons intended for medical use, the eBay policy reads.
According to The Independent, a musician tried selling his soul in 2008 on eBay for £25,000.50, but the post was removed by eBay.
