  • French content creator J0nathan "discovered details hinting at a third expansion"
  • "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" received its Wrath of the Druids DLC in May
  • Siege of Paris is the unreleased second expansion that takes place in France

Rumors about a third DLC for "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" have been making rounds online over the past months. While nothing is official yet about these leaks, new details claimed that the rumored Meteor DLC would take place in North Africa.

The latest information about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC came from French content creator and reliable industry insider J0nathan. After digging deep through the game's files, the insider shared details about a third unannounced expansion for the game, reportedly in the works at the moment.

On YouTube, the insider shared that he has discovered details strongly hinting at a third expansion with the code name Meteor.

The said DLC is apparently being developed by Ubisoft Sofia, the company's gaming studio in Bulgaria. J0nathan shared three game files with remarkably interesting names. These are DLC_EXP1_Ireland, DLC_EXP2_Francia and DLC_EXP3_Meteor. The first refers to the Wrath of the Druids DLC while Francia hints at the Siege of Paris DLC. The third name hints at the possibility of a third that Ubisoft has not yet announced.

As for the theme of the rumored "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC, the insider believes that it would center on Norse mythology, particularly on Musphelheim or North Africa. In the game files, J0nathan uncovered the entry LocationWorldEntry_ACK_DLC_Muspelheim. The insider, however, toyed with the possibility that the entry could refer to a removed or "abandoned game content."

Apart from those, J0nathan believes that the "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC was not a part of Ubisoft's original plan. Details about the rumored third expansion only appeared in the game's files after a content update was rolled out in March. The insider speculated that this sudden change of plan could be due to the record-breaking success of the main game, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla."

J0nathan has provided accurate information about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" in the past. He leaked about the maps of the game's Wrath of the Druids DLC and Siege of Paris in early May. The Wrath of the Druids' map he leaked is almost completely accurate, as were the details he shared in the past.

While these details about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC are interesting, these are not official. Fans should therefore temper their expectations and take this latest information as highly speculative.

Ubisoft has previously announced its roadmap for the hit "AC" title, but the details are only about the Wrath of the Druids and the Siege of Paris DLCs. It released the Wrath of the Druids DLC last May.
