  • "Back 4 Blood" will launch on various gaming platforms

"Back 4 Blood" Open Beta (early access) kicks off Thursday, Aug. 5, and will run over a couple of weekends. Unfortunately, it will only be available to those with early access codes. In this guide, gamers will know how to get free early codes and other details related to the Open Beta.

How To Get A Free Code

There are several ways for players to get free access codes for the "Back 4 Blood" Open Beta. The easiest and guaranteed way is to pre-order any edition of the game. Those who were able to participate in the game's Closed Alpha are also guaranteed free early access.

For gamers who did not pre-order the game or were not able to participate in the Closed Alpha, another way to get an access code is by registering an email address on the game's Open Beta website. Unfortunately, the selection process is totally random and the probability of securing one is left to chance or luck.

Another way to get a free access code is by receiving it via a Twitch Drop. Gamers just need to link their Warner Bros. Games account to their Twitch account and watch a streamer playing "Back 4 Blood" with the Twitch Drops activated for 60 minutes. After that, players can claim the free access code on their homepage.

Intel Gaming Access is also giving away Steam codes for "Back 4 Blood" Open Beta. Gamers simply need to visit the site, key in their information including their email address, and claim the code. It is worth noting, however, the codes will only be available until the site has them. Those interested should head to the site as soon as possible.

Rewards

The team behind "Back 4 Blood" has not yet said anything related to pre-release betas. If there are beta rewards, players can expect to receive special cosmetics for their weapons or characters as rewards, at least.

Interestingly, while pre-release beta rewards are still unknown, pre-ordering the game would grant players access to four weapon skins. These are the Fort Hope Elite version of the M4 Carbine, the Uzi SMG, the 870 Express Shotgun, and the RPK LMG. These skins are available in black, green, and brown camo variants.

Schedule

The Early Access Beta starts Thursday, Aug. 5 at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET and will run until Monday, Aug. 9 at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the game's Open Beta begins on Aug. 12 at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET until Aug. 16 at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET
