The Baltimore Orioles will play the Chicago White Sox Wednesday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. EDT, but fans of neither team will be allowed to attend. According to a tweet posted by the Orioles on Tuesday afternoon, both teams will play to an empty stadium in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Orioles announced Tuesday that their game with the Chicago White Sox game in Baltimore would be suspended until further notice. The city's professional football team, the Ravens, also canceled their NFL draft party, which was set to take place at the M&T Bank Stadium Tuesday evening.

On Monday night, the city of Baltimore was in a state of unrest -- vehicles burned and angry citizens rioted in the streets -- resulting in 15 police officers injured and the arrests of dozens of locals. The Orioles postponed their scheduled game Monday night.
