Beyoncé, Jay Z Divorce Rumors After Tour: ‘Evidence’ Couple Will Split After ‘On The Run’
Beyoncé and Jay Z have been plagued with divorce rumors, with many onlookers speculating that the couple is staying together only until the end of their “On The Run” tour. The duo appear to be all smiles for their audiences while they are in concert, but they might just be keeping face until their final 10 shows when the tour ends in mid-September.
Jay Z, whose real name is Sean Carter, is rumored to be cheating on Beyoncé, widely regarded as the queen of R&B. According to the New York Post, the couple headed to emergency marriage counseling to salvage their marriage. The “99 Problems” star apparently wants to do everything in his power to fix what he apparently damaged. (His fight in an elevator with Bey's sister Solange earlier this summer added to the perception that he had angered the Knowles family.)
“They are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing,” a source told the Post’s Page Six. “This is a huge concert tour and they’ve already gotten most of the money from the promoters up front.”
The source provided “evidence” that shows the couple’s marriage is in turmoil. “There are no rings, if you haven’t noticed.”
Their marriage woes apparently started before their daughter, Blue Ivy, was born. “For just a split moment, things got real for them and she was even talking about adding to the family. But, after a while, Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey. They made the classic mistake of thinking a child would change everything and help to rekindle the initial fire, and it didn’t.”
A report from In Touch Weekly claimed Beyoncé is over Jay Z and his “womanizing” ways after he was tied to British singer Rita Ora and American singer Mya.
“She’s heard all the rumors about Jay fooling around, and she can’t take it anymore. The romance is over,” the insider said via the Inquisitr. "They fight about everything, but cheating and jealousy have always been the big issues. Their relationship is volatile.”
Like any couple who divorces, the Carters would have to work out child custody and financial arrangements (though they have more financial assets than most people). But unlike most couples, Jay Z and Bey would also have to figure out how a failed marriage might hurt their "Drunk in Love" image and their brand as a power couple.
