Love has turned into a losing game among a select number of Hollywood elites whose relationships couldn't withstand the test of time. Throughout 2022, some of the most famous celebrity couples chose to go their separate ways.

From the most scandalous splits to the ones we expected, the year was riddled with shattered hearts and devastating breakups.

Below is a list of the biggest celebrity breakups of 2022:

After months of speculation, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and supermodel confirmed their split on Oct. 28 following 13 years of marriage. Brady and Bundchen shared similar statements on their respective Instagram accounts, describing the split as amicable and expressing gratitude for their time together.

Davidson marked Kardashian's first public relationship after filing for divorce from ex-husband Kanye West in February 2021. Later that year, in November, Kardashian began dating Davidson. After nine months, sources told Us Weekly on Aug. 5 that the couple went their separate ways. "They amicably split this week," an insider told the outlet at the time.

Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan

Jordan and Harvey were seen as "#CoupleGoals" after debuting their relationship. However, in June sources claimed the pair called it quits after more than a year of dating. While the couple did not publicly address their split, Harvey deleted all traces of Jordan from her Instagram account.

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers

A year after Woodley and Rodgers announced their engagement in February 2021, multiple sources revealed the pair split. At the time, an insider claimed the couple "haven't been spending any time together." Although Rodgers and Woodley were spotted getting close while attending a wedding in March, the relationship never fully recovered.

DiCaprio said goodbye to another supermodel love in August when sources claimed he and Morrone split after four years of dating. The model reportedly had a booked schedule, "filming all summer." DiCaprio and Morrone were last spotted together in France a month before their split was revealed.

Nia Long and Ime Udoka

After 13 years together, the couple was rocked by a scandal that led to their eventual end. In September 2022, the Boston Celtics head coach was suspended from the 2022-23 season after violating team policies by having an affair with a fellow staff member. On Dec. 6, a rep for Long and Udoka announced their split. The former couple shares a 10-year-old son, Kez.

Steve Burton and Sheree Burton

Shortly after Sheree Burton announced she was expecting her fourth child, the "General Hospital" alum made headlines on May 4 when he revealed he was not the father. "Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she's expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine," Steve Burton wrote at the time.

Steve, who was married to Sheree for 23 years, filed for divorce in July. The estranged spouses share three children.

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde

The "Don't Worry Darling" co-stars caused quite a frenzy after being spotted together in January 2021, shortly after Wilde's breakup with actor Jason Sudeikis. By November 2022, Wilde and Styles ended their romance after dating for less than two years.

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict

The "Sister Sister" alum pulled the plug on her 14-year marriage to Hardrict, citing irreconcilable differences in divorce filings. Mowry asked the courts for joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, Cree and Cairo. In an Instagram post addressing the split, Mowry insisted she and Hardrict would maintain a friendship and co-parent their children.

MacKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett

Scott, who was previously married to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, thought she found love again with the Seattle-based science teacher. However, she filed for divorce on Sept. 26, after less than two years of marriage.

Elgort and Komyshan dated off and on for more than a decade until Nov. 16, when she casually mentioned she was "single" during an interview with E! News. "I think it's fun," Komyshan said of her newly single status. "I'm 26, so right now is the age to push ahead and focus on that — on yourself."

Tyler Stanaland and Brittany Snow

Prior to their split, the "Selling the OC" star faced criticism for his flirtatious relationships with female coworkers and for downplaying Snow's importance in his life. Following two years of marriage, Snow and Stanaland announced their split in September on Instagram. While the pair did not mention Stanaland's questionable behavior on the Netflix series, they insisted the decision was made with "love and mutual respect for one another."
