Blake Shelton revealed he's had a “weird year” and admitted to drinking when he got nervous amid rehab rumors that surfaced just months after his divorce from Miranda Lambert. “The Voice” coach made the comments before he took to the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas Saturday.

“It's been a weird year… but at least I got my songs coming out," Shelton said, according to People magazine. “They told me I was playing this iHeart music festival and I thought, 'That's pretty cool. I'll go do that. That would be fun, right?'”

"I never actually know what I'm doing until I get here and I'm like, backstage doing some interview and I'm like, 'Who's that on stage?' That's J. Lo. What the eff? What am I doing here?” the “Sangria” singer went on to add, without talking about his former wife and their troubled marriage.

The 39-year-old also spoke out about his drinking amid rumors that he has overindulged in alcohol since his high-profile breakup and might need rehab.

"So then, I just want y'all to know, I got nervous and I'm still nervous right now, and when I get nervous I tend to drink a little bit, okay," he reportedly said, raising a red cup. "I'm just being honest with you."

Shelton also debunked rehab rumors by joking about the claim with one of his followers.

One of his fans had tweeted: “I love when I hear rumors about me....it makes me feel like @blakeshelton #NotTruth #BlahBlahBlah.” Shelton shared the post on his Twitter account and also responded saying: "Hey look I have cell service in rehab!!!!

Shelton has been trying to come to terms with the divorce, which he announced in July amid cheating rumors. Last month, reports surfaced that Shelton and his “Voice” co-judge Gwen Stefani may be romantically involved.

Another report last week also claimed that Shelton did not want to hear Lambert’s name in the wake of their divorce.

“Blake doesn’t want anything to do with Miranda. He’s telling his close friends that the marriage was a mistake, and, at this point, he wants to forget it ever happened,” a source told OK! magazine, according to Classicalite.com. “After all the stories he’s heard, he feels like he didn’t even really know her.” When they made their divorce announcement in July, the former couple said a split is “not what they had envisioned.”

Meanwhile, Lambert is busy focusing on her music and on Saturday posted a photo on Instagram ahead of her performance at a concert in Luckenbach, Texas, for a special event for MuttNation Foundation.
