After the shocking reveal of Season 2, episode 5 on NBC’s “Blindspot,” Wednesday’s episode promises that there will be more twists and turns to come.

Last week, FBI Agent Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) discovered that her friend and partner agent Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) had killed coach Jones after he watched a tape in his basement. It’s safe to assume that this tape showed some of the abuse Reade endured while he was under the coach’s care. What will happen in episode 6?

Titled “Her Spy’s Mind,” the upcoming episode in “Blindspot” will see FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) work with NSA Agent Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi). They chase a whistleblower in Bulgaria. The official synopsis on NBC states that Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) won’t be a part of Kurt’s operation since she goes on a Sandstorm mission with her brother Roman (Luke Mitchell).

Season 2, episode 6 will also show Reade and Zapata quickly deal with coach Jones’ body.

The promo of the upcoming episode teases huge spoilers for Patterson (Ashley Johnson), Nas, Reade and Kurt. Nas pushes Jane to get more details on Sandstorm’s big mission.

Elsewhere, Zapata confronts Reade on how long he stayed in Jones’ house and whether he actually killed him. “I did it, I killed him,” he yells at her during their confrontation.

However, the most interesting part of the trailer is Patterson finding a bug in psychologist Dr. Robert Bordon’s (Ukweli Roach) office. She tells Kurt of her finding. How will he react when he finds out that Nas has been covertly listening in to the team’s conversations?

Furthermore, the chemistry between Nas and Kurt will heat up when the two kiss. However, after knowing that she’s been spying on her team, will Kurt feel the same way about the agent?

Moreover, an explosion will put Patterson’s life in grave danger.

Brown spoke to Collider about Reade’s current state of mind. He told the website, “I think he’s a little unstable, which is understandable. Reade likes to be in control. He’s a stable, consistent person. But right now, because of so many shake-ups, personally and professionally, he doesn’t know which way is up, so there are temporary lapses in judgement or restraint.”

Reade and Zapata are right now in damage control mode. “It’s basically Reade and Zapata trying to figure out how to protect themselves in a bad-looking situation,” Brown explained.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 6 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
