Bluboo Xfire 2, World’s First Triple-SIM Android Smartphone Priced At $69 And Bluboo XWatch To Release Early 2016
In early 2016, Bluboo will be releasing two new products. The Chinese firm is currently working on a new affordable smartphone with triple-SIM support as well as a new sports-centric smartwatch.
The Bluboo Xtouch smartphone that was released few months ago has met with great reception from its users across the globe. Now, the company is rumored to be working on a new smartphone called Bluboo Xfire 2.
The smartphone will be a midrange device that will be priced at $69.99. It will be coming with a 5-inch display that will carry support for HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
The USP of the Bluboo Xfire 2 is that it will be the first ever Android smartphone to carry support for three SIM card slots. As it can be seen in the image, the right edge of the smartphone is fitted with three SIM slots out of which two will support nano SIM and one will support a regular sized SIM card.
Users will be also able to use two SIM cards and one microSD card on the available three SIM card slots. Another interesting feature that it will be arriving with is a front-facing flash for its selfie camera. The exact specifications of the front-facing camera are not known yet. The expected launch time of Bluboo Xfire 2 is January 2016, Mobi Picker reported.
Rumors are rife that Bluboo is also working on a flagship smartphone that is codenamed as Picasso. It will be featuring a sapphire display and premium design. More details on the smartphone are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
According to Android Headlines, the Bluboo XWatch is the Android Wear smartwatch from the Chinese firm. It’s a sports centric smartwatch that will be arriving with 1.3-inch OnCell display that will carry support for 360 x 360 pixels’ resolution.
The device will be powered by MediaTek MT2601 chipset that clocks at 1.2 GHz along with 512 MB RAM. It will be arriving with an inbuilt storage of 4 GB of RAM. Other features include GPS, barometer, altimeter and cardiotachometer.
Its thickness will be of 9.8 mm. It will be slimmer than Moto 360 and Apple Watch that measure 11.4 mm and 10.5 mm, respectively. The device will be powered by 480 mAh battery. It is poised to get announced in February 2016.
