Is Bobbi Kristina Brown getting better? According to a new update from her aunt Leolah Brown, she may be. The aspiring actor's relative recently took to her Facebook page to update fans hoping for good news. Brown posted that her 22-year-old niece, who has reportedly been unresponsive since January, has "continued to make progress."

In a Facebook post (via the Atlanta Journal Constitution) Leolah asked fans to be patient with the family. “We are all grateful to Almighty God for allowing us to still have Krissi with us!" shared Brown, who is sister to Bobbi Kristina's father, singer Bobby Brown. She also thanked supporters on behalf of her family.

Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, recently gave a very different picture. In an interview in May, Cissy was not hopeful for the young woman's recovery. “She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her ... I have nothing to do with that.” Houston had reportedly fought with her ex-son-in-law Bobby Brown over legal guardianship of Bobbi Kristina just before her interview.

In April, Bobby’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, told Us Weekly that the only daughter of Brown and the late superstar singer Whitney Houston was off life support and improving. However, her prognosis was still uncertain as doctors reportedly did not know how much damage she suffered in her accident at her Georgia home.

Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized on Jan. 31 after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub. Suspicion at the time followed her boyfriend Nick Gordon, and he was banned by Bobby Brown from visiting Bobbi Kristina in hospital. Gordon later checked himself into rehab after an emotional interview with Dr. Phil.

As family members have shown their support for Bobbi Kristina, she was moved to a rehab hospital for improved care in March. The Brown and Houston families continue to stand by Bobbi Kristina in the hopes she will recover.

As Leolah said in her post, “Let us keep our hearts and minds on Bobbi Kristina’s complete healing!”
