After months of going head-to-head in court and in the media, Food Network star Bobby Flay and actress Stephanie March are officially divorced. The duo confirmed the news to People on Friday in a joint statement.

“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement,” Flay and March said. “We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.”

Flay and March were married for 10 years and have no children. Their divorce settlement comes almost four months after they announced they were separating.

While Flay and March labeled their settlement as amicable, their divorce proceedings were reportedly anything but. In April, it was revealed that March was unsatisfied with receiving a $1 million payout for their shared New York home and the conditions of their prenuptial agreement. Her lawyer reportedly called the terms of the agreement, which would require Flay to give March $5,000 a month for five years in support payments, “unenforceable” and “morally reprehensible."

TMZ reported March was seeking more of the restaurateur and "Beat Bobby Flay" star's estimated $20 million fortune, citing she was a part of his success, including allegedly using her as his personal taste-tester.

Later that month reports that Flay had affair with his former assistant, Elyse Tirrell, surfaced. Flay’s representative blamed March for spreading the rumors. March’s lawyer responded to the claims, saying the actress was “terribly upset” by the reports. A rumor that Flay also had an affair with “Mad Men” actress January Jones later came to light.

In the middle of the flurry of rumors attached to their divorce proceedings, Flay received a star on Hollywood’s Wake of Fame on June 2. During the ceremony, a plane with a banner sporting the word “cheater” was flown overhead. March’s lawyer denied she had any part of the incident.
