Boston News: Massachusetts State Police's Newly Released Photographs Show How Robotics And Thermal-Imaging Cameras Aided Manhunt For Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev In Watertown
The Massachusetts State Police depicted how robotics and thermal-imaging cameras helped in the manhunt for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in Watertown Friday in a handful of photographs released via Twitter Saturday.
One of the photos appears to show Tsarnaev lying in a boat in a residential backyard minutes before his apprehension by law-enforcement authorities.
Two other pictures seem to show a police vehicle deploying a robotic arm that lifted a tarp covering Tsarnaev in the boat.
The images were all captured by the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing.
