Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are regularly in the tabloids over the purported demise of their marriage, and the most recent claim widens to their whole brood. Pitt is reportedly angry with Jolie for being “more concerned” with the Syrian refugee crisis than her own family, the National Enquirer claimed Wednesday.

The media outlet said her work as a humanitarian comes before being a mother to her six children: Maddox, 14; Pax, 11; Zahara, 10; Shiloh, 9; and Knox and Vivienne, 7. The three oldest children were adopted.

“Their six children are growing up, and they need both their mother and father,” a source told the outlet. “While Brad’s been working, Angie devotes all her time and energy to trying to fix the Syrian refugee crisis.”

Pitt, 52, just finished filming the World War II drama “Allied” in London. The whole Jolie-Pitt family moved to London, where the movie was being shot. While across the pond, Pitt supposedly began a fling with French actress Marion Cotillard, his “Allied” co-star.

During this time, Jolie, 40, purportedly became “consumed” with her work. “Her efforts to save the world’s refugees may be destroying her family in the process,” the Enquirer source said.

While Jolie is a human rights activist, the rest of the story is false, Gossip Cop reported Wednesday. “Jolie’s altruism isn’t interfering with her family,” a source told Gossip Cop, a website that debunks celebrity rumors. “The actress is able to balance both important aspects of her life, and the tabloid’s claim otherwise is simply “not true.”

Jolie was appointed a visiting professor in practice at the Center for Women Peace and Security at the London School of Economics last month. “I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations,” she said.
