Caitlyn Jenner finally got the apology that she deserves.

During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday, July 19, Jenner spoke with talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, about her transition journey, according to Entertainment Weekly. A few years ago, she decided to tell the whole world that she wants to go from being a man to a woman. Unfortunately, not everyone was supportive of her decision. In fact, some people made fun of Jenner and Kimmel was one of them.

“Kris and I, we had gone our separate directions, not because of gender issues but because of other things, and there I was back in Malibu all by myself, and so I slowly went through, told all my children, because it had been just hammered all over the media. In fact, guys like you making some jokes,” she told Kimmel during this week’s interview.

In her previous interview, Jenner shared that she would rhetorically ask herself, “why did God do this to me?” Kimmel appeared to make fun of her at that time when he responded, “Why did God do this to you?”

Kimmel immediately apologized to Jenner and admitted that they didn’t know exactly what was going on at that time. “Oh, now he’s apologizing,” Jenner joked.

This is not the first time that Jenner has schooled someone for making fun of her decisions. The former reality TV star also reminded Kimmel of her 2013 interview with the then-“Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon, where he gave the latter a hard time. Prior to their onscreen meetup, Fallon made fun of Jenner’s decision to get plastic surgery. When he bumped into Jenner, the former Olympian urged him to stop talking ill about her decision.

During her interview on the late-night talk show, Jenner spoke for a good eight minutes and slammed Fallon on his own show about not getting an apology from him. Jenner also took a jab Fallon when she said that her bum in a good pair of running shorts would look so much better than Fallon’s.

Jenner’s shade toward Fallon ended with the former telling the latter that his jokes about plastic surgery are fine while he’s still hosting “Late Night.” However, the minute he starts headlining “Tonight Show,” he should stop saying bad things about her.
