KEY POINTS

  • Raven Software released the patch notes of "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3
  • It contains new features and a lot of things that players could enjoy
  • Hosting private matches is one of them

"Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 players can finally host private matches on Rebirth Island. For players who wish to know how to do it, these tips could come in handy.

How To Create Private Matches In Rebirth Island

Setting up a private match on Rebirth island in "Call of Duty: Warzone" is fairly easy since the process is almost similar to that of the Verdansk map. To start, players need to find the button at the bottommost part of the "Call of Duty: Warzone" playlist.

After that, they need to choose the type of game mode to get into the lobby screen for custom matches. Players just need to change the map from Verdansk to Rebirth Island and start inviting friends to join them. The host just needs to wait for everyone to load into the lobby to start the game.

Other Details

The maximum player count in Rebirth Island's private match is 40. However, since it is the maximum threshold for each match, it won't affect players who just want to compete in small groups. Hosting or creating a private match is already enabled in "Call of Duty: Warzone."

However, it is only in Season 3 that the devs are allowing players to create private matches on Rebirth Island. This new feature is one of the highly requested additions players have been looking forward to since the game's official release.

On April 21, the heavily rumored Nuke event finally happened in-game and players witnessed the utter destruction of the game's first map, Verdansk.

Devs introduced a plethora of new content to the hit battle royale title last April 22 through the latest patch. There are six new weapons that players could get their hands on, including the fan-favorite PPSh-41. Devs also introduced new Operators, new game modes and new maps in the game.

Apparently, the original Verdansk map is gone for good and according to devs, it is not returning to Call of Duty: Warzone."
