The red carpet has rolled out in the South of France for the 68th Cannes Film Festival, and celebrities are bringing their most fashionable outfits for the occasion. Lupita Nyong’o has become a style icon in the past few years following her breakout role in Steve McQueen’s “12 Years A Slave,” and her green flowing dress she wore at the Cannes opening night was no exception.
Another fashion foward actress, Natalie Portman, chose a sleek red gown that gorgeously slit to show off her black heels. Meanwhile, Naomi Watt’s silver feather ball gown swept up the red carpet with its Ginger Rogers inspiration. But let the feathers fly when it comes to some of the worst dressed at such the high-profile film festival. Julianne Moore’s first Cannes red carpet looked a little worse for the wear with its uneven fringed cover.
