Marvel has revealed plot details for "Captain America: Civil War.” The film will be set after the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) will head the new group of Avengers who will save humanity from a lurking danger. A governing body will come into action as a result of damage caused by the Avengers, and this will cause a rift between them.

“After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain,” reads the official synopsis of the film.

The shooting of “Captain America: Civil War” has already begun. The major part of the film will be shot at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. Some portions of the film will also be shot in Germany, Puerto Rico and Iceland. Moreover, the creative team of “Captain America: Winter Soldier,” Joe and Anthony Russo and writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, have once again joined hands for “Captain America: Civil War.”

Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role of Iron Man in the film. The actor has previously revealed his reason to do another film with Marvel in his interview with Empire (via Slashfilm). “They said to me, ‘If we have you, we can do this, or Cap 3 has to be something else. It’s nice to feel needed. And at this point it’s about helping each other, too,” he said.

Meanwhile, there has been major buzz that Spider-Man might show up in the film. However, there is no confirmation yet. Besides Evans and Downey, the cast of "Captain America: Civil War" will include Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Jim Rhodes and Elizabeth Olsen.
