There’s a baby Daredevil on the way.

Charlie Cox, who plays the blind ninja vigilante named Daredevil/Matt Murdock in Netflix series “Daredevil,” is soon going to become a father. The 33-year-old English actor shared the good news during a Q&A session at a Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, reports E! News. Cox revealed that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Samantha Thomas.

Thomas serves as a producer on two Marvel TV shows – ABC’s “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and Netflix’s “Jessica Jones.”

Cox shared the good news during the Q&A session that was moderated by Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada. Cox told Quesada, “My girlfriend [was] pretty amused when I said I was going to Toronto a couple weeks beforehand, by the way. And I went, ‘So, keep your legs closed.’”

Cox also told the Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer, “I kind of feel like I’m putting you on the spot here, but one of the things she [Samantha Thomas] said to me before I left was, ‘If you see Joe [Quesada], you have to convince him to do a Baby Daredevil drawing for us.’”

Quesada conceded Thomas’ request, “I can do that.”

Although the “Daredevil” star didn’t reveal the due date, The Bump reports that Cox and Thomas will welcome their first baby on Sept. 15.

Cox is having a great year since the second season of the Marvel series hit Netflix. Even better, “Daredevil” was renewed for Season 3 and is set to premiere sometime in 2017. The British actor also has his plate full by playing blind lawyer Matt Murdock in the upcoming Netflix series “The Defenders.” Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will reunite in “The Defenders” as the superheroes face their biggest threat ever.

Fatherhood will be another feather on the talented actor’s cap!
