Chester Bennington's wife Talinda Bentley posted a strong message late Tuesday saying she will "survive, persevere, and thrive" following her husband's suicide last month. Bentley, whose Twitter account was allegedly hacked just hours after the Linkin Park frontman's death, said she spoke to "Chris" and knew then she "will be ok."

Bentley did not mention the last name of Chris, making it unclear who she was talking about. The tweet came just a day after Bentley remembered her late husband by sharing a photo of the two together.

"I'd give my life 2 go back 2 this moment. I was so nervous 2 kiss in front of the camera but C said to me'It's just us baby' as he kissed me," she wrote.

Bennington was found dead July 20 at his family home in Palos Verdes Estates, California. He is survived by wife Bentley and their children — Tyler Lee and twins Lila and Lily. He also had two sons with Elka Brand — Isaiah and Jamie, as well as Draven Sebastian with ex-wife Samantha Marie Olit.

Despite several conspiracy theorists raising doubts over the circumstances leading up to the death of the 41-year-old, Los Angeles County coroner’s office said last week that Bennington’s cause of death was suicide by hanging.

Just hours after Bennington's death, a series of tweets posted from Bentley's account said she knew details about how her husband died. One of the tweets also said Bentley was cheating on her husband with band member Mike Shinoda.

"I guess this is the time to say it but I have been cheating on Chester with Mike Shinoda....," Talinda wrote. "I never really loved him and I'm not hacked I just was in love with the money hurts to say," she said in another tweet. However, the tweets were immediately taken down.

Social media users were furious after the tweets went out, with some saying Bentley's account was hacked.

Bennington was laid to rest in a private funeral in California on Saturday, and the ceremony was attended by 200 of the singer’s friends and family members.

Recently, Bennington’s widow had opened up about the singer’s death and how her family was going through the tragedy.

“One week ago, I lost my soul mate and my children lost their hero—their Daddy,” she wrote in a statement to E! News. “We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy. How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left. I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy. And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.”
