China Rises To Second Behind US In Number of Global Fortune 500 Companies: Infographic
Last year marked the end of a nearly decade-long decline in U.S. global Fortune 500 companies, according to research from CEO.com and computer software corporation DOMO unveiled Wednesday.
Other highlights include: China and South Korea gained the most on the list of top 10 countries with the most global Fortune 500 companies, with China taking second place behind the U.S. Meanwhile, Britain and Canada slipped the most.
And the Netherlands has the most (four) global Fortune 500 companies per capita, followed by Switzerland (1.8).
