“I Bet” singer Ciara continued to bring her son around her new boyfriend, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, despite being criticized over the weekend. While some people objected to her son, Future Zahir, attending Wilson’s training camp Saturday, “Anaconda” rapper Nicki Minaj showed she was on her side.

Minaj, 32, was subtle with her support. She simply favored a tweet that read "Russell Wilson > Future,” according to Media Take Out. Model Amber Rose also showed her support for the singer and was much more blunt about it. “I’m so happy for @Ciara,” Muva, as she is also known, wrote.

Future, Ciara’s ex- fiancé and the father of their son with the same name, had a much different feeling. He took to Twitter to slam Ciara and when that wasn’t enough, he reportedly took a picture of himself wearing Ciara’s diamond engagement ring, MTO wrote in a different story. He also put up his middle finger.

Whether it was out of spite, or because she really enjoys watching her new man play, Ciara brought her son, who she called “juicy man,” to another Seahawks practice. The star shared a picture of herself holding Future Zahir and smiled brightly on Instagram. The photo was liked more than 156,000 times by her 7.8 million IG followers.

Unlike rapper T.I., who slammed Ciara over the weekend, her fans supported Future Zahir’s relationship with Wilson. “Keep Russell in little future's life that's the kind of role model we. Need for our young men today!” one person wrote. “Don't take to heart what these silly behind people write about YOUR business. You know what's best for YOUR child and don't need others approval but GOD,” another person said.

Wilson, 26, has remained quiet about the controversy. He recently signed a $87.6 million, four-year extension contract with the Seahawks.
