Couple Caught Having Sex In Courthouse Charged With Obscenity

A couple allegedly caught having sex in a courthouse stairwell Wednesday were charged with obscenity. According to ABC-affiliated television station KATC, the incident took place at the Rapides Parish Courthouse in Alexandria, Louisiana.

A courthouse employee heard "a commotion" and went to investigate when he found Miguel Camille Glorioso, 20, and Jamie Lee Coutee, 19, having sex.

"According to witnesses, a commotion was heard in a fifth-floor stairwell and when an employee went to investigate, they observed a male and a female having sex," the department said.

A representative for the courthouse said the two left the area once they were caught.

According to reports, Glorioso is a trustee assigned to cleaning duty at the courthouse. He was arrested and remains in jail. His partner Coutee was released on a $1,500 bond.

This is not the first time a couple was arrested for having sex in a public place.

In 2016, a man and a woman were caught having sex in a vehicle behind a Walmart on Sullivan Road in Central, Louisiana. According to the affidavit of probable cause, an officer working extra duty was informed about the duo, identified as Alex Fourroux and Ashley Aicard, having sex.

Both Aicard and Fourroux were placed under arrest and later charged with obscenity.
