Actress Dakota Johnson didn’t have to testify during Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s defamation trial, but the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star was unhappy when social media dragged her into the former couple’s drama.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Johnson reflected on an old clip that recently went viral. In 2015, the actress attended a press conference with Depp at the Venice Film Festival for their film “Black Mass.”

In the video, Depp shows Johnson his injured finger, and she laughs after the actor seemingly explains his injury.

After Depp testified that Heard was responsible for severing his fingertip with a bottle of vodka during an argument, the 2015 clip resurfaced.

A YouTube video of the moment, which is titled “The EXACT moment Dakota Johnson KNEW Amber Heard was VIOLENT towards Johnny Depp,” has received more than 3 million views.

Johnson told the publication she has seen the video and noted that the “internet is a wild, wild place.”

“I was like, ‘For the love of God, why? Why am I involved in this?’” Johnson said while shaking her head.

“I don’t remember that at all, but please, take me out of this. Don’t let this go further,” Johnson said.

“Can you imagine, oh, my God, if I was called to the witness stand? I can’t believe that people are watching [the trial] like it’s a show. It’s like it’s a courtroom drama and my heart breaks. It’s so, so, so crazy.”

While Johnson avoided being dragged into Depp and Heard’s defamation trial, the former couple’s legal woes are far from over.

After Heard essentially lost the lawsuit against Depp, Australia announced it was still investigating the actress in an ongoing perjury case.

A spokesperson for the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment told Entertaintainment Tonight that the case is “ongoing.”

“The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment is investigating allegations of perjury by Ms. Heard during court proceedings for the 2015 illegal importation of (her) two dogs into Australia,” the rep said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Depp is scheduled to return to court over a 2018 assault lawsuit filed by Gregory Brooks, a location manager who worked with the actor on the “City of Lies” film.

Brooks claimed he suffered psychological injury and physical pain after Depp verbally attacked him and punched him twice in the rib cage. The lawsuit is set to go to trial next month.
